This notice supplements the Privacy Notice and applies when you apply for a role at First Tech Group through this site. It exists because a job application involves more sensitive data than ordinary browsing, and you deserve to know exactly how it is handled.
What we collect when you apply
- Your name, email, and the contact details you provide.
- Your CV/résumé and any documents you upload.
- Your answers to application questions.
- The history of your application's progress through our hiring stages.
We ask only for what the role requires. Fields marked optional really are optional, and leaving them blank does not disadvantage you.
How your application is handled
- Uploaded documents go into private storage — never a public bucket — via a server-controlled pipeline, are scanned for malware, and can only be retrieved through short-lived signed links by authorised staff.
- Access is role-based: only FTG recruiting staff and the interviewers assigned to your application can see it.
- Every stage change is recorded, and you can track your application's status in your candidate portal at any time.
No automated decisions
Humans make our hiring decisions. We do not use automated decision-making or profiling to accept or reject applications.
How long we keep applications
If your application is unsuccessful, it is automatically deleted — documents included — 6 months after the decision, unless you explicitly ask us to keep your details for future roles. If you join FTG, your application becomes part of your employment record.
Your rights
You can access, correct, or delete your application data, or withdraw your application entirely, at any time — from your portal or by emailing [hello@ftg.vc](mailto:hello@ftg.vc). Rights under the GDPR, Saudi PDPL, and UAE PDPL apply as described in the main Privacy Notice.
References and verification
If we make you an offer, we may ask your consent to contact references or verify qualifications. We will not contact your current employer without your agreement.
