First Tech Group launches to build the digital economy's operating stack

We're launching First Tech Group to fund, build, and operate the core infrastructure of the digital economy — the venue where value trades, the wallet where it is held, and the intelligence that acts on both.
First Tech Group is launching to fund, build, and operate the core infrastructure of the digital economy. We are an operator-investor — capital with conviction, a studio that ships, and owners who stay on the ground long after the cheque clears — and we are starting with a specific bet about where the durable value of the next cycle is being built.
The bet
In the last technology cycle, the value concentrated in whoever came to own the infrastructure: the rails, the marketplaces, the identity and data layers that everything else had to plug into. We think the next cycle will be no different, and that the infrastructure worth owning now sits at a particular seam — the place where money is becoming programmable and machine intelligence is becoming something that can act. Value that software can read, software will eventually move. The interface between the two is about to become critical infrastructure, and it barely exists yet.
One stack, three layers
We are taking one deliberate position in each of the three layers that the next financial era is being rebuilt on:
- Markets — the venue where value trades. A global digital-asset exchange, Exx1 (in active build), designed to be the group's liquidity layer and its gateway between traditional and digital value.
- Money — the wallet where value is held. PRV Wallet, a multichain, non-custodial wallet where privacy and self-custody are engineered in from the first commit rather than promised on a policy page.
- Intelligence — the system that acts on both. PRVAI, an Arabic-first, region-resident AI arm building assistants and the durable memory layer beneath them.
Each is a standalone business with its own customers and its own reason to exist. What makes them a group rather than a portfolio is the connective tissue between them — a shared identity and memory backbone that lets them compound: liquidity makes the wallet useful, the wallet distributes the intelligence, the intelligence deepens the markets, and every interaction enriches a memory the whole group shares.
Why the region, why now
We build region-first. The Gulf pairs unusually clear rules for digital assets and AI with sovereign-scale capital and a young, mobile-first population — a combination that makes it a launchpad rather than a follower. We build to a global standard second, so nothing we ship is provincial.
We do not build features. We assemble the operating stack for how value will move, be secured, and be acted upon.
What comes next
Over the coming months we will publish the thesis in depth, share the research that guides our own decisions, and open our doors to founders building at this convergence. This is the first entry in FTG Insights — our public record of the work, and our attempt to be useful rather than promotional.
If you are building at the intersection of money and machine intelligence, pitch us. If you want to help build it, see open roles.
